Tillandsia loliacea is a small species belonging to the subgenus Diaphoranthema. Native to Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina, saxícola and epiphyte, growing from sea level to 1500 meters of altitude. It is a relatively variable species in forms. Beautiful and numerous curved, silver-green leaves. Simple floral bractea, distichous, with a particular 'zig-zag' shape. Small yellow flowers. Easy-care plant that with the passage of time forms precious spherical groups.
