Tillandsia didisticha is a species native to Bolivia, southern Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. It grows epiphytically and saxicolously from 500 to 1400 meters above sea level. Its numerous triangular, silvery-gray leaves form a dense rosette. It produces a long, distinctive, reddish or salmon-colored, compound inflorescence (branched two or three times) with a compact, fan-shaped form, meaning all its branches spread flat on a single surface, curving outwards. Its flowers are white. It is a hardy and easy-to-care-for plant.
