Tillandsia diaguitensis is a species from Paraguay and the north of Argentina. Its a elegant plant, long, with hard leaves, with purple/marron colours when its exposed to intense light or direct sun. Green and long bracts, with white large flowers, very similar to T. xiphioides, with wavy margins and fragance. Easy to grow, resitant to dryness and cold/warm, producing many pups before and after blooming, building a nice clump. Needs very bright light or direct sun to bloom.
