Tillandsia espinosae
Tillandsia espinosae is a species native to Ecuador and Peru. An epiphytic plant, it grows at altitudes ranging from 200 to 900 meters. Its numerous leaves, tough to the touch and covered in fine trichomes, form a dense rosette. It produces a single, erect, bright red floral bract, and its flowers are long, tubular, and lilac in color. It reproduces vegetatively by producing long stolons.
