Tillandsia fasciculata is a plant that is distributed from the south of the United States to Colombia. It is a plant, like many Tillandsias, very variable in forms. Acaulescent plant, its numerous grouped leaves form a large rosette, which in some cases or varieties can exceed more than half a meter in diameter. Its leaves are covered by fine trichomes that give it silvery reflections, its base is dark green with brown tones (not to be confused with rot or similar). This variety forms a long simple inflorescence from which emerge multiple tubular flowers of lilac/blueish color.
