Within the subgenus Diaphoranthema, this plant is native to Peru, Bolivia and Argentina, growing in an epiphytic and saxicolar way. It is characterized by its tiny and multiple leaves completely closed to the inside. Absence of floral bract, produces a tiny yellow flower (hence its name) yellow. Form beautiful groups over time. Without a doubt a jewel of the subgenus Diaphoranthema.
