Tillandsia ehlersiana is a species native to southern Mexico (Chiapas), growing on rocks at 700 meters of altitude. It is a pseudobulbose species that can become large if its conditions are suitable, becoming a very attractive plant. Its particular leaves are wavy and silver in color due to the presence of its abundant trichomes that cover it, giving the plant a metallic or white appearance. Reddish floral bracts with blue tubular flowers. Very slow growing plant but very easy to care for, withstanding cold/heat, dryness or excess water.
