Tillandsia butzii is a species native from southern Mexico to Panama, growing epiphytically from 1000 to 2300 meters of altitude. One of the most notable characteristics of this species is the brown mottling that covers its green leaves, which form a pseudobulb, giving it a brindle appearance. Its inflorescence, red with green tones, produces tubular lilac flowers. Plant that grows very well in a shady, ventilated and humid location.
