Hybrid between Tillandsia caliginosa and Tillandsia streptocarpa registered under the name Tillandsia 'Holm's Calicarpa'. This interesting hybrid is characterized by its silvery leaves, densely covered by fine trichomes, forming a somewhat polystic rosette (growing in several directions). Its erect bract, silver-green in color, produces numerous and showy flowers of a characteristic very dark purple color with, sometimes, an irregular and very curious white mottling. Flowers with an intense and pleasant perfume.
