Tillandsia caliginosa is a species native to Bolivia and Argentina. It belongs to the subgenus Diaphoranthema and its appearance is reminiscent of Tillandsia crocata or Tillandsia myosura. Distic leaves (growing in the same plane), succulent to the touch and covered with fine trichomes giving the plant a white appearance, its stem has no trichomes. Long white floral bract due to the presence of trichomes, small dark brown flowers. Easy to grow plant with good light, good ventilation and moderate watering.
