Tillandsia straminea x cacticola

Hybrid between two species native to Ecuador and Peru. Both species, aesthetically similar, are characterized by their leaves that are soft to the touch, forming a rosette arranged in a helix, with the presence of numerous trichomes, giving a velvety appearance to the plant, but above all by their striking flowering. This hybrid perfectly shares the characteristics of both species, with long leaves forming a beautiful spherical rosette and an amazing texture. Plants from seeds and, although we have not seen them bloom yet, we assume that they will have long pink bracts and white flowers with lilac edges, like their relatives, possibly scented.
