Tillandsia aeranthos is a species distributed throughout much of South America, in countries such as Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. Like many Tillandsias, it is a species with multiple forms and variations. Popularly known as 'carnation of the air', together with Tillandsia bergeri. We have spherical groups of this form of aeranthos with silver-green leaves due to the large presence of fine trichomes, somewhat wavy and soft to the touch. Pink floral bract, flowers with deep blue petals. A popular plant with infinite forms that makes it highly prized and cannot be missing from any collection.
