Tillandsia lorentziana is a species that is distributed in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Paraguay. It is a fairly variable species. Its silvery leaves due to the large presence of fine trichomes appressed to the leaves form a beautiful helix-shaped rosette. As its leaves grow and become longer, they can fall forming a 'skirt' to the plant. Its inflorescence is red and can have white or blue flowers, this one in particular has blue petals. T. lorentziana is a slow-growing but very prolific plant, forming large groups over time. Resistant and easy to care for.
