Alluaudia procera is a succulent shrub native to Madagascar. It is a plant that can exceed 2 meters in height, its stems are upright although sometimes retracted, robust, silver-colored and covered with numerous thorns that can be up to 3 cm wide, arranged in line along the stem. It is a deciduous plant, with particular rounded and fleshy leaves of an intense green color. It is a plant that rarely flowers, its flowers appear at the ends of the stems, they are small and pale yellow.
