Tillandsia jonesii is a species endemic to Brazil. Saxicolous plant, growing on rocks, in sunny exposures. Plant that grows along a stem, with erect leaves that are somewhat hard to the touch, burgundy/silver in color that can turn reddish in very bright exposure. Red/pink bract, long, large blue flowers. Easy-care plant, with striking flowering at the end of winter.
