Tillandsia streptophylla x caput-medusae

Hybrid between two species native to Central America. Both species are plants of great aesthetic beauty, which form a pseudobulb and have striking flowering. Plant with green leaves densely covered by large trichomes that give the plant a velvety appearance, forming a pseudobulb. Plants from seeds and, although we have not seen them bloom yet, we assume that they will have reddish bracts and tubular lilac flowers, like their relatives, and may even take on coloring of the leaves at the time of flowering. A hybrid between two great species that will surely not leave you indifferent.
