Tillandsia aeranthos is a species distributed throughout much of South America, in countries such as Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. Like many Tillandsias, it is a species with multiple forms and variations. Tillandsia aeranthos 'Curly' is characterized by its rather wavy and long leaves, but above all by its dark silver/metallic leaves with very characteristic purple tones. Pink floral bract, with trichomes that give it a "snowy" effect, flowers with navy blue petals.
