Tillandsia usneoides is one of the most widely distributed species in the American continent, growing from the southern United States to Argentina. It grows epiphytically, reaching 3 meters in length, hanging from the branches of the trees, from sea level to 3300 meters. It is a very variable species in forms. This particular form is characterized by its very long, thin and smooth, green/grey leaves, relatively fast growing, which when they reach a large size resemble a horse's tail. Non-floriferous plant, which after years of cultivation, we have not yet seen bloom, but we sense tiny green flowers, slightly scented. Very resistant and easy-care plant with good ventilation.
