Tillandsia schatzlii is a species endemic to Mexico, growing as saxicolous at low altitudes. Plant with silvery leaves, few in number with a velvety touch that can reach 25 cm in height and around 10 cm in diameter. Its floral bract is bright green at the base, which takes on reddish tones at the tips. Tubular lilac flowers. Rare plant in cultivation. Available young plants from seeds.
