

Tillandsia cacticola is a species native to Peru. It grows epiphytically on bushes and cacti in arid places, from 300m to 2300m altitude. It is a species that comes in multiple forms. This is a caulescent form, with long silver leaves, densely covered with fine trichomes. Its floral bract of a striking lavender color is very long and can exceed 60 cm. It produces multiple creamy white flowers with purple petal tips. One of the most beautiful blooms and, in addition, very durable, which is enjoyed for a long time.
