Tillandsia schiedeana is a species that is distributed in a large part of Central America, from Mexico to Colombia, growing as epiphyte from 50 to 1800 m of altitude. Its light green polystic leaves are densely covered by trichomes. Its leaves can reach 20 cm long. Simple red bract, yellow tubular flowers. Very easy-care plant, capable of withstanding drought well. Prolific plant, forms pretty groups relatively quickly.
